Print Work / Poster Design
In this project, I created a series of 11x17 inches posters for a specific monologue provided by the class. The task of this assignment is to use typography as a communication tool–both conceptually and visually. The chosen monologue is from the Newsroom, by Jeff Daniels–America's Not the Greatest Country Any Longer.
In this set of posters, I interpreted the monologue with different approaches but kept them in a consistent style.
I reproduced the opening scene of the monologue where Jeff Daniels gave a shock to the audience at the beginning.
I showed the content without showing a single word of the monologue.
I captured the emotion/mood change in the monologue.
